Frequently asked
A YouTube video won't play, or shows an error.
Some creators turn off embedding for their videos (you'll often see an error code like 101 or 150). Those can't be played inside any third-party app. Pick a different lesson, a cover, or a backing track — most of those allow embedding and work fine.
How do I add a tab?
Paste tab or chord text straight into the app, or import a .gts / .gtsl file. Then pair it with a YouTube lesson or an audio file from your own library and line up the timing.
What are .gts and .gtsl files?
A .gts file is a tab split into regions. A .gtsl file is a full lesson that also remembers which YouTube video it syncs to and when each part lands. Both are plain, shareable files you can send to anyone using the app.
Can I slow a part down or loop it?
Yes. Set a region, turn on the loop, and drop the speed until it's comfortable. With your own audio you can also shift pitch independently of speed.
Where is my music and where is my data stored?
On your device. The app keeps your tabs, sync points, and imported audio locally and doesn't send them anywhere. Deleting the app removes them. See the Privacy Policy for details.
